Association pour le Developpement Durable (ADD) in partnership with the Ministry of Education and Human Resources, Tertiary Education and Scientific Research (MEHRTE&SR) and La Gaulette State Secondary School (SSS) and with support of the Currimjee Foundation implemented a Sandwatch programme at La Preneuse Beach from January to June 2018.
Each year, we need coordinators to act as instructors for students in different schools and colleges close to coastal areas.
We will need FOUR coordinators to prepare for next year's round with four schools.
We offer training to the coordinators to run the programme on the field.
Coordinators will be expected to engage with students to bring forth the importance of actively monitoring changes in their beach environments, protecting the coastal and marine environment and understanding marine resources.
